Persona 3 Reloaded is an outstanding game, we all know that, and now we have yet another proof of how awesome it really is – its sales have led it to becoming the fastest-selling Atlus game ever. One million copies were sold in the first week, according to Atlus themselves. Wow!
“Persona 3 Reload sold 1,000,000 copies worldwide within its first week, becoming the fastest-selling game in ATLUS history!” said Atlus West on their Facebook page. “A huge thank you to our community for your incredible support!” They also seem very confident about their future lineup because they say “We look forward to breaking more records with you” in the message as well.”
Even though the game has been available on Xbox Game Pass from day one, there's been no measureable impact on its sales. If anything, the word-of-mouth effect might have bolstered them.
Reception appears to be quite good as well. On Steam, the current review score is "Overwhelmingly Positive," with a rating of 97%. Moreover, it holds an 88 Metacritic score based on reviews from 61 critics as of the time of this writing, which is beyond impressive.
