The Thanksgiving brought the announcement that more than 20 million have been actively playing DON’T NOD’s Life is Strange.  Wow, what a record!

Initially released in 2015 in an episodic form, Life is Strange follows Max Caulfield as she finds out she has the ability to turn back time. It appears she has everything she needs to all of her problems and help her friends. Soon, she would discover that all actions have different consequences, and using her powers comes with a cost.

The game got a massive following thanks to the realistic depiction of teen life and the complex yet beautiful relationship between Max and her rebellious friend Chloe Price. The franchise spawned several titles, including the prequel Before the Storm which primarily focuses on Chloe. Even though they’re all great games, none of them really managed to capture the magic of the original.

If you’re new to the series or you just want to go through the Max and Chloe’s story again, you can check out the Remastered Collection which contains both Life is Strange and Before the Storm.
