Igor Aleksandrowicz have just released their retro-inspired FPS, Calcium Contract on Steam for a symbolic price of $15.99.

Compared to many other games in the genre, Calcium Contract isn’t about big guns and explosions. Its arsenal consists of a number of strange contraptions that shoot stuff like musical golden bones. The enemies are a vast mixture of chickens, cats, and lizards, and as the developers say, their main focus was “on game feel”. That is definitely seen just by looking at the footage already.

The game’s biggest issue is that it doesn’t have many selling points that people usually expect from this genre (like the mentioned big guns and explosions). But nonetheless, I feel it’s worth to give it a chance.

Calcium Contract is available right now on PC.
