Deep Silver and Plaion have revealed that the first expansion for Dead Island 2, currently titled Haus, will launch on November 2. Based on the information provided in the Expansion Pass, Haus is the first of two planned story expansions. Players will get to explore new locations and discover new skill cards and weapons while witnessing the gradual unraveling of a mysterious faction of survivors.
The expansion will bring players to a scary psycho-horror dreamscape in Malibu in order to investigate a mysterious cult. The plot revolves around a billionaire cult that has left behind any moral values that you can think of. The Malibu villa will serve as a machine and a sanctuary that you can explore at your own pace.
Haus brings several new weapons to the table as well. We don’t have the full list at the moment, but we know that K-ROSSBOW, Hog Roaster, and Dead Islands weapons will be included in the mix. There are also eight new skill cards that you can obtain to expand your arsenal.
Dead Island 2’s Haus expansion is coming to PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PS4, and PS5 on November 2.
