Can you imagine that No Man’s Sky is seven years old at this point? Neither can I! But anyway, happy birthday No Man’s Sky! What was once arguably the most controversial game in modern history is now easily one of the best sci-fi games of the previous generation (and even the current one). More content is coming along the way as well.

A recent video from Hello Guys reminds me of how many years have passed with a special anniversary video. It showcases all the major changes and free DLC patches that have been added over all these years. At the end of the video, we also see a brief announcement that “ECHOES” is coming along the way as well. We have no clue what it could be at the moment, but it’s likely a new batch of content for the game.

Usually, when a new update is about to come, the studio’s Sean Murray would show up to tease what we can expect, and this time it’s no different, but his tweet…doesn’t really say much. He would usually upload a single emoji to his Twitter account, showing fans what they can expect next, but this time, all we have are some vague question marks. Nonetheless, I’m really excited to see where this goes and what these folks have in store for us.

No Man’s Sky is available now on Xbox One, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
