Dexai Arts and Crunching Koalas have shown off their narrative bouncer game Techno Banter that is scheduled for release for PC and consoles at some point this year.
The game puts you in the shoes of a bouncer at a club while the gameplay focuses on deciding who to let through to enjoy the club and who to throw out. Based on the currently available footage, it seems like this will be a narrative game with some first-person movement and talking to people. The graphics are inspired by the Berlin techno scene and they mix 3D environments with 2D pixel art characters.
The trailer doesn’t show off a lot but it is intriguing enough to make me put this game on my “to be purchased” list.
Techno Banter is coming to PC and consoles at some point in 2023.
