Back in 2016, Microsoft and Remedy teamed up for the live-action TV show/game hybrid Quantum Break, and even though it had a lot of flaws, it was definitely a unique product. Well, now it seems like it will be leaving the Xbox Game Pass just as uniquely as well.

The game has been a console exclusive for nearly seven years only ever showing up on Xbox One and PC. It was also added to Xbox Game Pass in September but only (as it appears now) temporarily since the game is listed as “leaving soon”.

As it was pointed out multiple times, Quantum Break is quite a licensing nightmare, even while being a part of Microsoft. Different production studios are involved in this along with direct likeness rights. An identical situation to what we saw when Forza Motorsport 7 left the Xbox Game Pass. History repeats itself.

Games that are also leaving the Xbox Game Pass in April are:

  • Rift Breaker

  • Moonglow Bay

  • Rainbow Six Extraction

  • The Dungeon Of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet Of Chaos

  • Life is Strange: True Colors

  • The Long Dark
