The Game Awards 2022 nominees include Nibel, Ragnarok, and Elden Ring

Another year is coming to an end, the holiday season is approaching, and we know what that means – it’s time for The Game Awards. We now have a full list of the 2022 nominees.


The awards ceremony will take place on December 8 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, CA. Looking at the names competing this year, this will be a real treat to watch.


The leading nominees this year are God of War Ragnarok (with 10 total nominations), closely followed by Elden Ring (with 7 nominations). While titans are dominating the list (as expected), we do have other stuff as well, including some promising indie projects like Immortality and Neon White both picked up three nominations apiece.

Debut Indie Game and Games For Impact both have some great entries too, like Citizen Sleeper and Vampire Survivors. Some gaming content creators were also recognized, as recently-retired news aggregator Nibellion (a.k.a. Nibel) got a nomination for Content Creator of the Year. And rightfully so, if you ask me.
