It isn’t the first time that one patch addresses certain issues but breaks something and since Elden Ring is such a huge game, this isn’t a strange trend at all. Anyway, FromSoftware have dropped a brand new Elden Ring patch to address some of the critical issues plaguing the game right now.

The 1.07.1 patch deals with Endure (Ash of War) and nerfs it, following a “ greater impact on game balance than expected.” So basically, they’ve overbuffed Endure causing it to become one of the most OP abilities in the game, tanking damage pretty much effortlessly.

Some of the things that were mentioned in the previous patch notes 1.07 – the incantation Flame of the Fell God and Gurranq’s Beast Claw) got no changes at all, so the notes got modified to indicate all the limitations. The incantation Black Blade will also get a follow-up attack when used with a left-handed loadout at some point in the future.

The Elden Ring 1.07.1 patch is now live on all platforms.
