Naughty Dog have just released a couple of short comparison videos for the PS5 remaster of The Last of Us Part 1 and you know what? They like quite awesome!
The pair of clips are short but infinitely sweet. They show off two sections of the game in total. The first one shows the game’s famous opening sequence where Joel and his brother are driving his daughter to safety. The second one shows off Tommy and Joel riding a horse and looking for Elle.
The footage does a damn good job of showing how much things have improved visually in the upcoming remaster. We’re not just getting updated textures, the remaster takes full advantage of the new hardware, and that includes improved character models, denser physics, and more.
Last of Us Part I is coming to PS5 on September 2, 2022. The PC version is coming out at a later point. You can check out the clips below:
