Flashback 2, a sequel to the iconic Flashback from 1992, now has a brand new trailer, and it’s coming to PC and the consoles later this year.

The description reads as follows:

The upcoming sci-fi horror adventure, The Callisto Protocol has a new trailer that shows off two minutes of raw gameplay. The footage was shown off by Striking Distance Studios at the latest Summer Game Fest.

As you can see, The Dead Space vibes are real in this game, which is not surprising given the fact that the director of Dead Space, Glen Schofield is also the co-founder of Striking Distance Studios. On top of that, he’s working on this game as well.

Schofield wrote a post on the PlayStation Blog and he talked about the game’s premise:

“Set on Jupiter’s ‘dead moon’ Callisto in 2320, The Callisto Protocol is the story of Jacob Lee, an inmate at Black Iron Prison who must fight for his life when a mysterious outbreak throws the moon into chaos.

Prison guards and inmates are mutating into monstrous creatures called Biophage, and Jacob must battle to survive the horrors of Black Iron and uncover the dark secrets of the United Jupiter Company.”

The Callisto Protocol is coming to PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on December 2. You can check out the trailer below:
