Sea of Thieves kicks off Forts of the Forgotten Adventure with a brand new trailer
The gameplay sure looks awesome.
The second chapter continues the plot of last month’s Shrouded Isles adventure. In case you’re not up-to-date with the plot - pirates were investigating a mysterious fog washing across the titular Sea of Thieves, which caused the inhabitants of the Golden Sands Outpost to disappear.
That adventure led swashbucklers to an ancient ritual located on Shipwreck Bay. As it turned out, the folks responsible for this mess were none other than The Servant of the Flame. The Reapers’ mysterious leader then summoned a Soulflame Captain, who then had to be taken down by the pirates. As it turned out, though, they were just a distraction, and killing them allowed the series baddie Captain Flameheart to unleash his Sea Forts across the world.
The new story has Bella recruiting pirates to come and rescue the vanished denizens from the Sea Forts. Pirate crews are invited to speak to Larinna to get their quest and prison break underway. Those who do that are in line for some unique rewards for themselves and their ships.
