Switch Online subscribers can now try Monster Hunter Rise for free

If you’re a Nintendo Switch player and you have a Switch Online subscription, you may be happy to know that you can now try Monster Hunter Rise for free. The free trial started on March 11 at 10 AM PT and will last until March 17 at 11:59 PM PT, so you have three more days to have a blast with the game without having to spend a dime.


It’s arguably one of Ninty’s best trials so far and it offers plenty of value. The free trial includes all of the Monster Hunter Rise content patches, along with bug fixes and quality of life upgrades as well as some Capcom crossovers. Even though the real game begins after the core campaign ends, you can still best that campaign during the trial period with moderate game time. So, if you want to see what the game is all about, you can dive in for free and finish the main story for free. And if you like it, sure, you can stay.
