Sea of Thieves teases 2022 as the game’s “biggest year yet”
Lots of great stuff to look forward to, my pirate comrades.
The broadcast on the Sea of Thieves YouTube channel promises a brief look at the game’s next season (and beyond). The broadcast will kick off at 6 PM UK time, and the trailer gives us a brief glimpse at what we can expect in the near future. We can see a glimpse of some of the new locations and we can also see the new fort-looking structure that is…quite awesome, to be honest. The Pirate Lord also shows up briefly, which indicates that a new adventure for Pirate Legends may be on the horizon.
The last year was also quite successful for Sea of Thieves. It got a brand new free expansion last summer and it gave us a warm welcome into the world of Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean. We also had regular seasonal updates, which have included Siren Shrines, custom quests, and fireworks, so there is no doubt that 2022 will indeed be even better for the game.
