Netflix have just released a new trailer for the upcoming The Cuphead Show based on Studio MDHR’s iconic platformer Cuphead and it looks great as expected.

The show was announced back in 2019, and it will feature Cuphead and his brother Mugman taking off on their madcap adventures as we remember them from the game. Along with our two heroes, the show also features many of the iconic bosses that we’ve fought in the game. The voices of Cuphead and Mugman are provided by Tru Valentino and Frank Todaro respectively, while Wayne Brady will be giving his voice to King Dice. Ms. Chalice will also make an appearance in the show ahead of her debut in the game’s upcoming Delicious Last Course DLC.

The first episode will see the brothers heading to a traveling carnival and running into the Devil himself, (pretty much the same way it happened in the game). We will see if the plot will mirror the one we’ve seen in the game, but the trailer is promising indeed. And all the familiar aesthetics are present here as well.

The Cuphead Show will be available via Netflix shortly and it will arrive on the streaming platform on February 18, 2022. Meanwhile, Cuphead‘s highly-anticipated The Delicious Last Course is coming out this summer - on June 30.
