God of War's digital sales numbers are absolutely insane
It's not that surprising, to be honest.

Kratos and his son are truly kicking some serious ass. The digital sales earned Sony more than $131 million alone! Don't believe it? Check out the latest reports on SuperData Research.
As these folks reported, there is a rising interest in games that have a strong narrative and, obviously, this game is a prime example of that. But, even without that fact alone, these numbers are truly amazing.
God of War already achieved amazing success when it sold more than five million copies in the first month already. But, at this point, we can add that they managed to beat their own record as well.
Let's hope that God of War will keep up with this rate of success and, who knows, maybe we will get a sequel much faster than we were hoping!
