Great news, fellow Warhammer fans! As it was announced by Fatshark, Warhammer: Verminitide 2 is coming out on March 8, less than 2 months from this moment! This official announcement is followed by a new gameplay trailer where we can see the brutal combat abilities (both melee and ranged) demonstrated by a fearsome Bounty Hunter. Definitely, I wouldn't want to be in the skin of all these vermin on his way!

From the (first) looks of it, this game will be slightly different from the first game and in many different ways. The game will feature a similar approach to hero careers that we saw in Overwatch. That way, for example, you'll be able to be a Witch Hunter Captian instead of just a "simple" Bounty Hunter. His range of abilities is very similar to the one we saw from Mercy (in, as we said, Overwatch).

This is how the CEO of the company (Martin Wahlund) describes the whole project: " Being passionate fans of the Warhammer IP, we've always wanted to create a Warhammer sequel that both stayed true to the beautifully dark atmosphere of the world but also brought new ideas and experiences for players. It's been years of work but on March 8th we look forward to joining forces with players everywhere to defend Helmgart from evil".

While waiting for the full game, you can head over to Steam and pre-purchase it for $27/£21/€25, depending on the currency. That is %10 off from the main game which looks quite fair, to be honest. And, of course, don't miss out on the cinematic either...
