KT7A and Athlon XP CPU conflicts

3D Spotlight have got some information on their site regarding Abit's KT7A motherboards having trouble to work when coupled with the new Athlon XP processors. Word is that only the rev1.3 of this motherboards will work correctly while the early revisions will freeze looking for microcode, worst of all rev 1.2 seems to be the most popular of the KT7A boards.
