What? You thought it was over with the seemingly final gameplay trailer two weeks ago? Think again. Looks like we have yet another piece of information to go through, just a mere week before Pokemon Sun and Moon releases. This time, the information comes in the form of leaks which detail the exclusive Pokemon for each version. Here are the details, courtesy of Reddit user VanitaLite:

Pokemon Sun will get the Fighting-type football player wannabe Passimian; the spike-armored half-Fire and half-Dragon Turtonator; the "Midday" Form of Lycanroc; the Alolan Forms of Vulpix and Ninetails; and the "Ultra Beast" UB-02 Expansion.

Meanwhile, Pokemon Moon will be graced with the fancy-looking half-Normal, half-Psychic Oranguru; the Chinese Dragon-inspired, uh, Dragon Pokemon Drampa (he also has a Normal sub-type); the "Midnight" Form of Lycanroc; the Alolan Forms of Sandshrew and Sandslash; and UB-02 Beauty, also an Ultra Beast.

And needless to say, the legendary Pokemon that represents each game, Solgaleo (Sun) and Lunala (Moon), are exclusive to their versions. Similar to previous Pokemon games, if you want to get your hands on the Pokemon not available in your game, you would need to find someone to trade with.

Version-exclusive Pokemon have been around since the first-gen games, Red and Blue. But it wasn't until the second-gen games, Gold and Silver, that legendary Pokemon were involved. The existence of these version-exclusive Pokemon require players to socialize with other players to facilitate a trade. Back when link cables were the norm, the ordeal was quite nerve-wracking for shy types. But thanks to the emergence of online multiplayer, players no longer need to talk face-to-face to their trade partners.

Pokemon Sun and Moon are shaping up to be the most different set of games yet, based solely on the gameplay changes made by Game Freak. They're also set to become the biggest Pokemon games ever, which is saying a lot, if the pre-orders milestone set by Nintendo is any indication. Thankfully, we only have a few more days of waiting to see just how different it is from previous games. Pokemon Sun and Moon releases on November 18th.
