Screen Gems has picked up the licence for a Devil May Cry movie. According to Variety the plot revolves around Dante, who avenges his mother's murder by killing off demons.
Screen Gems is the same production company behind the Resident Evil series and is hoping Devil May Cry will make the same impact.
Kyle Ward, who had a hand in the upcoming Kane & Lynch movie, has been hired to pen the script.
