Tomorrow is the start of a new era for the PlayStation 3... or so they say... in the form of a special PlayStation Store update to add support for Stereoscopic 3D to some games.

From tomorrow you can play WipEout HD, SuperStardust HD, PAIN and a new demo for MotorStorm Pacific Rift in Stereoscopic 3D, as long as you have a 3D TV of course.

The above games will be available from tomorrow through a 3D Collection package at the cost of £23.99 and they will also come free if you purchase a new Sony Bravia 3D TV. Updates for all of the games will be free if you have them already.

The problem is of course that this means nothing to most people who wont have a 3D TV, but if you do, enjoy!
