Blizzard Entertainment have announced today that the number of subscribers for its MMORPG World of Warcraft has surpassed 11 million.
"It's been very rewarding to see gamers around the world continue to show such strong support for World of Warcraft," said Mike Morhaime, CEO and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment. "We remain fully committed to responding to that enthusiasm with a high-quality, constantly evolving game experience."
The second expansion for the game, World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King is due out on 13th November, which adds a new continent, increases the level cap to 80 and includes a host of other new features.
