KOCH Media today announce having successfully concluded an agreement with BattleBorne Entertainment, Inc. during the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2005; for the already critically acclaimed title COMBAT ELITE: WWII PARATROOPERS. KOCH Media has secured the publishing rights to a further developed version for the console platform in the PAL territories and and for the PC in Europe, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.

COMBAT ELITE: WWII PARATROOPERS retells with great authenticity the story of the soldiers who were part of the 17000 American and British paratroopers supporting the allied invasion from the air on D-Day. During the course of COMBAT ELITE gamers participate in the most well-known battles of the Second World War: from D-Day to "Operation Market Garden", to the liberation of Germany. To render visual details during gameplay, COMBAT ELITE uses the noted Snowblind Studios engine (e.g. "Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 2").

"Through intense research of the historical background BattleBorne Entertainment provides maximum adherence to details. The dangers surrounding the soldiers often left to themselves in hostile territory were given a realistic rendering," says Stephan Unser, C.E.O. of KOCH Media Italy and himself paratrooper in reserve. "We are happy to present this action-packed war game under the DEEP SILVER label."

"We are convinced that in DEEP SILVER we have found the right partner for COMBAT ELITE: WWII PARATROOPERS." says James Kosta, Director of Technology of BattleBorne Entertainment, Inc. "We are sure, that the quality of COMBAT ELITE and the competence of the DEEP SILVER team will achieve according success."
