Dawn of War gets an expansion pack
Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War - Winter Assault will be released later this year featuring "a deeper single player experience and a brand new fifth race; The Imperial Guard"
Following on from its success with Games Workshops Warhammer 40,000 based RTS, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War, THQ have announced that Relic Entertainment are busy working on an expansion pack, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War - Winter Assault.
According to THQ, the new expansion pack will "debut later this year, and will feature a deeper single player experience and a brand new fifth race; The Imperial Guard."
Ron Moravek, general manager at Relic comments: "The response to Dawn of War has been overwhelming, Combining the enthusiasm we're seeing from the fans with the ability to draw from the seemingly endless, rich content from the Warhammer 40,000 universe made the decision to create an expansion easy. We look forward to building on the Dawn of War franchise with even more visceral combat action throughout both the single and multi-player experiences."
