HomeLAN - When the time came to do the sequel, what were the development team's main goals?
John Matheson - We had a few. Of course the main goal was to create a beautiful game that is really enjoyable to play. Beyond that, there were some technical issues with the development platform we used for the first game, so one goal was to find a new platform that would solve those problems and allow us to do everything we needed to do as quickly as possible. One final goal was to set the project up in such a way that all our artists would have a chance to be as creative as possible without getting pigeon-holed into doing the same repetitive task over and over.
