HomeLAN chats with FASA Studios' Jim Deal about Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge, their upcoming Xbox Live enabled aerial combat game:

HomeLAN - What can you tell us about the storyline for the game and how it fits in the established Crimson Skies universe?

Jim Deal - The story hooks us up again with Nathan Zachary and his gang of the Fortune Hunters. Nathan wakes up after a tough night of card playing, drinking and womanizing to realize that he lost his zeppelin and his plane in a crooked poker game. In the first environment Nathan gets his plane, zeppelin and crew back. In doing so he runs into an old friend and mentor whose death embroils him in an adventure that includes a beautiful woman and an evil genius who is hell bent on world domination! This story line is pure pulp fiction from the Crimson era, the 30's and plays up the alternate universe angle. In that universe, aircraft, not cars have become the dominant technology. Once commerce takes to the skies so do the pirates.Nathan is one such pirate and he encounters rival gangs as well as fantastic, pulp fiction Bosses.
